It looks like while people were stuck inside during the blizzard, they were getting busy on dating sites.
The dating app "Happn" reported a 139-percent spike in New York City this weekend. The app, which matches you with people who cross your path, also saw an increase in user signups.
"Happn" has almost 10 million worldwide users, with about 10 percent of those in the U.S.
Researchers say that boredom and loneliness while being stuck inside might explain the increases.
