DA: Crack cocaine and heroin trafficking ring busted in Orange County

Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler says 11 people have been charged after a multi-agency investigation that included the Orange County Drug Task Force.

Orange County authorities have busted a crack cocaine and heroin trafficking ring in Newburgh and Wallkill.
Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler says 11 people have been charged after a multi-agency investigation that included the Orange County Drug Task Force.
Hoovler says undercover investigators purchased quantities of narcotics over the course of several months.
Nine of the defendants were arrested and charged with crimes including criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, for the sale of narcotics to undercover police officers. Police say they are still looking for two men, Mackensie Arias, 22, and Rahjeem Russell, 25, who are wanted charges including criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.
