A much-anticipated grocery store has opened in Yonkers.
The Key Food Marketplace on Nepperhan Avenue is now up and running.
It's been vacant for about a year after the A & P grocery store shut down when it filed for bankruptcy.
A CVS took over about half of the 30,000 square-foot building.
Shoppers say the new Key Food is smaller than the A & P, but it offers similar options.
The store is open every day from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
