CT teen arrested for possessing loaded semi- automatic pistol in Thornwood

A Connecticut teen is charged with having a large caliber, loaded gun in Thornwood on Monday.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Malik Walker, of Hartford, following a traffic stop.

They say he resisted arrest, and after a struggle, officers found a semi- automatic pistol fully loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition. 

It is unknown at this time why Walker was in possession of the weapon.
