Fire officials say sparks from construction equipment ignited a home fire in Greenburgh. 
Firefighters were called to the scene around 10 p.m. Thursday at 28 Riverdale Ave.
Fire officals say flames were coming out of the three-story wood-frame home when they arrived.
The homeowner was able to escape the flames on his own.
Officials say the family that owns the home will stay with neighbors until they are allowed back inside.
