An altercation at New Rochelle High School led to the death of student Valaree Schwab, according to the court documents.
The documents, filed at the end of June in county court, say the altercation at the high school continued at the McDonald's on North Avenue and then by a Subway restaurant.
Documents say Dominique Slack physically attacked Schwab's head, knocking her to the ground and causing her to drop her keys.
Schwab was said to have sustained cuts on her hand and legs and a hemorrhage to the left side of her brain.
Other teens who were with Slack allegedly took Schwab's fallen keys and a can of pepper spray and ran to the Dunkin' Donuts. Schwab followed them there in an attempt to get her keys back.
Upon arrival, Schwab allegedly grabbed classmate Z'Inah Brown's coat. Brown allegedly turned and stabbed Schwab twice in the chest and back, fatally wounding her.
After the stabbing, court documents say Brown threw the knife into a snowbank outside Dunkin' Donuts, and she and the other teens left Dunkin' Donuts.
They are scheduled to be back in court in August.
