The coronavirus is causing a Connecticut couple to celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary in an unconventional way.
Nancy Shellard is in a nursing home in Stafford Spring. Because of the current visitation restrictions in place, her husband Bob would not be able to spend the special day with her.
Rather than sit at home, he got creative and stood outside the window of her room with a sign and balloons.
Of course, Nancy, as well as others at the home, were thrilled!
The couple shows they are living their vows of "in good times and in bad."
