A construction company helped out Beech Hill Horse Farm in Pleasantville by installing a generator for free.
The farm has had no running water for four days. The owner says they have 50 horses to take care of and keep healthy without the electricity to do so.
The owner of Segel and Co. Construction says he wanted to help out the farm. The farm has also gotten other help since Tuesday, including the donation of a 3,000-gallon tank and water by the Pleasantville Fire Department and Pocantico Fire Department.
According to Con Edison's website, power will be restored for the farm Monday evening.
However, the company expects the vast majority of customers to be restored by Sunday night.
