The Trump administration is moving forward with plans to ban TikTok and WeChat.
The Commerce Department announced it is banning users from downloading the apps starting Sunday.
While the news may be unpopular to TikTok users, Sal Lifrieri, a security expert, thinks it makes sense.
Lifrieri has great suspicions about how exactly the Chinese-owned company is using the data they collect from users.
The owners of TikTok are not going out without a fight saying, "We will continue to challenge the unjust executive order, which was enacted without due process."
Users Friday were making sure followers know how to find them on other apps.
