Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton and GOP candidate Carly Fiorina were on the hot seat on "Meet the Press" Sunday morning.
Clinton remained adamant that she has been as transparent as possible with the use of her private email account while she was secretary of state.
When questioned over allegations that her campaign keeps adding more explanations to the controversy, Clinton replied, "Well, it is like a drip, drip, drip. And that's why I said there's only so much that I can control."
Fiorina, meanwhile, stood by her disputed description of a scene from a video that targeted Planned Parenthood. During the most recent GOP debate, Fiorina described seeing a fully formed fetus on the table with its heart beating, while someone says it needs to be kept alive so it could be harvested for parts.
"That scene absolutely does exist," she said.
She also defended her record as CEO of Hewlett Packard when questioned as to why 30,000 people were laid off during her tenure there.
"Some of our strongest competitors went out of business altogether, taking every job with them," she said. "We saved 80,000 jobs. We went on to grow to 150,000 jobs."
Fiorina has been climbing the polls, but has yet to catch up to Ben Carson or Donald Trump.
