A team of firefighters from the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department responded to what can be called a "classic rescue" mission on Thursday afternoon.
Members climbed about 50 feet above ground to rescue a frightened cat from a tree on Georgia Lane.
The short-lived mission ended when all four paws were on the ground.
