The City of Newburgh will soon have a brand-new, state-of-the-art aquatic center in place of its old pools.

Officials say demolition at the site on the corner of Washington Street and Robinson Avenue will begin in July to prepare for the Delano Hitch Aquatic Center.

The project is part of $100 million in infrastructure upgrades that the city is undertaking. It is expected to be complete Memorial Day 2025.
