6h agoA Department of Public Works employee injured in a tree trimming accident in Mount Vernon on Tuesday has died.
The City of Mount Vernon released a statement, saying that Juan Peralta Sr. died on Friday.
The city said that Peralta Sr. was a dedicated and experienced arborist and horticulturist of 55 years.
He had worked for the city for over a decade.
