Business is good these days at Sammy & Nat, a children’s boutique on Purchase Street in Rye, according to the owners.
Owner Samantha Benson says she welcomes the hard work and the line of customers, but the COVID-19 crisis has been challenging.
“We had to shut down for almost four months. Luckily, we had an online presence,” says Benson.
To survive, Benson and her staff revamped the company website while also concentrating on her wholesale business.
While the renewed threat of the delta variant is cause for concern, she says she is not afraid.
Taking part in the weekend’s Rye Sidewalk Sale, which was downsized last year by the COVID-19 crisis, has been good for the fiscal health of the business.
With the possible return of restrictions amid new spikes, Benson is taking a wait-and-see attitude.
