Award-winning celebrity chef Peter Kelly packed more than 300 Thanksgiving meals Wednesday at his restaurant X2 Xavier’s on the Hudson.
The meals were being handed out to seniors who live in the Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers.
Kelly said this meal giveaway is personal, as he spent part of his childhood in Yonkers public housing.
He has since gone on to appear on multiple TV shows, including "Iron Chef" and "Beat Bobby Flay."
Kelly said the meals he’s prepared are the exact menu he serves in his restaurant.
