Rush hour traffic on the Sprain Brook Parkway was snarled this morning when a crash caused two cars to roll over.
Police say the accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on the southbound side at Jackson Avenue and Tuckahoe Road.
One of the cars went down a ravine and into a few inches of water. The car suffered extensive damage, and the driver had to be extricated by the fire department.
At least two people were taken to the hospital, but the injuries are not considered serious.
All southbound lanes were closed for about an hour as first responders worked the scene. The parkway was fully reopened around 8:50 a.m.
