Cardinal Timothy Dolan visited three shrines this weekend to pray for healing and protection amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Dolan stopped at the Salesian National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Stony Point with several faith leaders as services are canceled indefinitely.
Faith leaders say the cardinal's presence speaks volumes, and that he is asking everyone to remember while we're doing physical distancing, we still have social unity.
Dolan also stopped at the St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in Manhattan for more prayers.
