Car flies off Bronx River Parkway into woods
A driver was lucky to walk away uninjured after his car flew off a parkway and into the woods in Yonkers this morning. Police say the car went off the northbound Bronx River Parkway around 8 a.m.

A driver was lucky to walk away uninjured after his car flew off a parkway and into the woods in Yonkers this morning.
Police say the car went off the northbound Bronx River Parkway around 8 a.m.
Despite being deep into a heavily wooded area, the driver was uninjured.
Traffic on the parkway was sluggish for an hour as emergency vehicles extracted the car.
