A car burst into flames at a gas station in Hartsdale, just moments after the driver brought it in.
The fire happened at the BP gas station on Central Avenue in Hartsdale. The driver, who happens to work at the gas station, tried bringing the car in to have it looked it because he knew something was wrong with it. The car started smoking at the gas station and caught fire just a few feet from the garage.
The fire spread to the side of the gas station's shop, but did not spread any further. Firefighters say the gas station is lucky the car was nowhere near the gas pumps.
No one was hurt in the fire, and the driver managed to get out of the car.
