At least four cars were broken into overnight in a parking lot on John Street in New Rochelle, with thieves targeting airbags.
One of the victims, Honda CRV owner Alejandro Herraraeo, reported that his car was broken into and had its airbag stolen. This is not the first time his car has been targeted in this parking lot. Three years ago, the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle.
Herraraeo expressed frustration with the lack of security in the parking lot, despite paying $600 annually for a permit.
