Wednesday daytime highs could tie or break records. The record for White Plains is 87 degrees, set back in 2010. The forecasted high is 86 degrees, but other locations could be even warmer.

There will be a chance for some scattered showers Thursday afternoon and a few pop-up showers and isolated storms for Friday. A cold front will be approaching the region, helping to fire up potential rain.

There will be more widespread rain chances for Saturday but less so for Sunday as the system moves in and then moves out over the course of the weekend.
