Twelve Brooklyn Holocaust survivors were honored on the Holocaust Day of Remembrance.
A new billboard located in Times Square shows their faces and their stories.
"I'm a Holocaust survivor, and I'm still here," said Judith Frydman, from Gravesend.
It's part of a new project by The Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island.
The goal is to bring awareness to survivors.
"Whatever can be done to advertise that yes, it happened, it was horrible, no words to describe it," said Frydman.
The billboards will run until March 15.
