And of course, we'll have more news in just a few moments. But first, let's turn our attention to our storm watch forecast. Here's meteorologist Addison Green to break down everything you need to know for this weekend and, and to that, we do anticipate seeing a very nice start to the weekend. It's the second half the back end as we're trying to come on back home from our weekend getaways perhaps. And we're dealing with a very high chance of seeing showers come through at last into Monday. Thankfully though, not the entire days for both, these are going to be washed out, but we're going to be seeing this system swing on in by Sunday afternoon, the first half of your Sunday for the most part will be fine, breezy, mild, a touch of the muggy side with an increase of moisture coming up this way. But by Sunday afternoon, overnight into Monday, that's when we get batches arranged strong gusty winds. Those holiday lights that are nicely decked out across your household may be impacted, especially some of those inflatable holiday decorations where you maybe perhaps you want to bring them inside before they get blown away. So putting your future cast right here in motion Sunday morning, you can see we have probably the most of the cloudy skies across the Hudson Valley area. These yellow lines right here are Isobars lines of vehicle pressure, the more amount that we have in place and the closer you are to get shows us a stronger wind field coming on in and the direction of where it's coming from. And we can see those winds will start to increase out of a south westerly direction around lunchtime showers though still aren't here yet, but we're watching those Isobars getting closer together. So more breezy winds by Sunday afternoon with rain coming on down and this will continue being the case overnight, potentially some heavy rain coming on through. Thankfully though, this is for the most part wind, we're sleeping 330 or so right there in the morning, but some strong gusty winds may come down with that rain as that rain comes down from the atmosphere and pulls down that strong wind flow. Now, up past this cold front, approaching our area, we may be dealing with a brief change over places like Sullivan County, Olsa County, a little change over a little wintry mix of snow. I think dry air will come rushing on down first. So that change over will be brief. But nonetheless, it's still possible if you're out and about. We did have some snow showers earlier on today with a brief flow of air coming in off the Great Lakes that has, for the most part shut down. But we still have some cold air in place for tonight with a very light breeze. We'll see temperatures go down towards the low 30 gut in towards your four, five o'clock hour and then moving up nicely towards lunchtime. Around 42. We're getting back to where we should be this time of the year with high temperatures in the mid, maybe even the upper forties. If we're lucky, Saturday is the pick of the week. Mid f coming our way. Sunday, 60 degrees. You're like, wow, that looks great problem is that happens closer to midnight and heavy rain and gusty winds coming on and so it's not gonna be a pleasant 60. Then after that, temperatures tumble forties are coming our way for all of next week.

Bronxville bakery celebrates Star Wars Day with galactically good treats

The force is strong with us today. May the fourth be with you today is Star Wars Day. Yes, it is. It is a day dedicated to the popular sci fi franchise and now one local bakery is getting in on the fun. You do not need to travel to a galaxy far, far away to enjoy some Star Wars Suites, Chantilly Pastry in Bronxville will be selling some of these impressive treats to mark the occasion during a big event. This Saturday show, we've got cakes on the set, Wookie cookies on the set to celebrate this holiday in the studio at these delicious desserts. So incredibly impressive. Take a look, baby Yoda is big right now. So they've done everything from a classic cupcake to cakes featuring Darth Vader, of course and even a cupcake inspired by. But I know that you guys want to do a little battling of with, oh, here we go this life. Oh Don't break it. Somebody's gonna need the vacuum after this and we're probably getting in trouble. Look how gorgeous. I really, I really taste delicious too, but the presentation is fantastic for Star Wars fans out there. I must enjoy how come the weekend? I know it's so impressive. Even a little tie fighter here on these cake pops. So absolutely impressive what they're doing over there at Chantilly Pastry. They dropped off the stuff yesterday so we can enjoy uh and share the great stuff for that. I'm just shaking up the floor. Sorry, I'm not really hearing what you're saying anymore. Full of sprinkles and glitter. These are great. This is delicious, but I think I'm gonna have some cleaning up to do. Ok, why don't you do that? Do you want to hang on to your uh churro? Yeah. Actually let's, let's use it for, let's do a bump over to the maps right now. If we can, I'm gonna get a little bit of a napkin right here. We're gonna look outside and it's going to basically be how it's looked the past several days. I mean, you get this at this point, right? It's one of those days everybody on a week that's just been pretty unsettled here across the Hudson Valley. So we are going to try to take the light saber and move these clouds that way. It's not gonna work, but we're gonna talk about that future cast. As we go into the afternoon today, there could be a spotty shower or two notice the little blips of some green across the Hudson Valley temperatures in the mid fifties during the afternoon, another cool day. Then by this evening and overnight you'll be contending and battling with some of those raindrops but not much rain during the evening and overnight, just a little Sprinkle in spots. And then we'll do this all over again for tomorrow on Friday, a few spotty showers, temperatures in the fifties again. And then this is the last day tomorrow that we are dealing with any of those raindrops. And then we will be able to push those clouds in the showers on out of here in time for the upcoming weekend, which will be fantastic, middle and upper sixties on Saturday and we'll have a fair amount of sunshine. So as we go throughout the rest of today, smile worthy weather, not today, but we do have a couple of those raindrops around throughout the day. Just keep that in mind, temperatures in the mid fifties. And then as we head toward this evening and overnight tonight, we're going to have those overnight temperatures back in the lower to middle forties. I don't even know what to do with this thing here as we going into the overnight, just a stray Sprinkle tomorrow, a few passing showers. But the better weather news comes on in in time for the weekend, sunshine Saturday, sun and clouds on Sunday and the warmer weather too into the early part of next week with a few scattered showers again for Tuesday and into early on Wednesday. The nicer weather returns for the end of the week and I'm gonna finish my Star Wars Churro now.
