The identity of the victim in a deadly crash on I-87 last week has been released.

State police say Arnold Sanchez, from the Bronx, was killed when his van crashed into the Thruway Wrecker, which provides traffic control for a disabled vehicle.

Sanchez was taken to Nyack Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

No one else was injured in the crash.

The wrecker was providing traffic control for a disabled vehicle.
