Bronx residents fought through the nasty weather Thursday as heavy rains swept across the borough.
Streets in many Bronx neighborhoods turned into mini-rivers, as about half an inch of rain fell.
Bronx resident Frank Liggio says he's most concerned about the effect rain has on drivers.
"That's what gets scary - driving around, especially my son, he goes to work at night and I get worried about him," he says.
But the unusually high temperatures had some thinking that things could be worse.
"I think [the rain is] OK, as long as it's warm," says Steve Lejqi.
