A Bridgewater man is facing charges after police found a body and weapons inside his home.

Bridgewater police say officers were called to 38-year-old Lance Chillemi’s home on Route 22 for reports of a possible shooting victim. They say that when officers searched the home, there were no signs of a shooting, but they did find the body of a man and multiple guns, edged weapons, ammunition and drugs.

The man found dead was not identified. Officials say he had no visible signs of trauma. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the New Jersey State Medical Examiner’s office.

Chillemi now faces multiple charges and is being held at the Somerset County Jail.
