A family party Saturday night turned tragic when a teenage boy drowned in the backyard pool of an Irvington home. Police say family members went to check on 14-year-old Skylar Tancredi in the swimming pool and found him unresponsive. They called 911 and emergency responders administered CPR, but the boy died a short time later at Dobbs Ferry Hospital. Family members were too upset to make a statement. Detectives do not suspect foul play. They are calling it a tragic accident. The medical examiner?s report confirms drowning as the cause of death.
