(AP) - Investigators searching for aMassachusetts woman who stopped her car on New York's Tappan ZeeBridge, removed her sandals and leaped over the side have found thebody of a white female.

State Police say they found the woman's body about 2:30 p.m.Sunday in the Hudson River near the bridge.

Police could not immediately say whether the body belonged tothe Massachusetts woman, 33-year-old Saige Reisler.

State Police Investigator Noel Nelson says a maintenance workeron the span saw the Northampton woman jump early Saturdayafternoon. Nelson says a car belonging to Reisler was found on theRockland-bound side of the bridge. A pair of sandals was near thecar.

Northampton police say Reisler had been reported missing.

The Tappan Zee Bridge is about 30 miles north of Manhattan.
