The NYPD has released the body cam footage that captured a shooting that ended with Monroe Native and NYPD Det. Brian Mulkeen being struck and killed by friendly fire back in September.
The video shows Mulkeen and another officer in a struggle with Antonio Williams on the night of Sept. 29.
As News 12 has reported, Mulkeen and another officer were at a New York City Housing Authority complex in the Bronx investigating a shooting in the area that happened three days earlier.
Police say the anti-crime unit tried to stop Williams for questioning. When Williams ran, officers took him down.
Both Williams and Mulkeen were hit and killed by police gunfire.
