The state Board of Elections is warning voters about a scam.
It says people across multiple counties in the state have been going door to door impersonating board staff.
They're supposedly confronting voters about their registration status and accusing them of committing a crime.
The Board says any of its employees would present identification.
If you ask for ID and your request is refused, the board recommends collecting as much information as you can without giving away your personal details and getting in touch with your local police.
