More than 2.2 million New Yorkers took advantage of early voting - including over 270,000 in the Hudson Valley, according to the Board of Elections.
Long lines persisted Sunday throughout Westchester as the final day of early voting wrapped up ahead of Election Day on Tuesday.
Voters showed up early to ensure they were able to cast their ballots this year.
This is the first time New York has provided early voting for a presidential election, and even though the long waits have caused some frustration, many are happy to have the option this year.
The polls are now officially closed to early voters. People can still vote on Election Day.
