Those trick-or-treating in the Hudson Valley for Halloween will find pumpkins of a different color.
Residents around the area are displaying blue pumpkins to help represent autism awareness. The initiative is to show not everyone communicates in the same way.
The pumpkins make the children’s experience more sensory-friendly.
