A criminal defense attorney has pleaded guilty in connection with a 2019 fatal
drunk driving crash.
Robert Schuster, 53, of Bedford, left a holiday party and was driving eastbound
on Route 172 when his car crossed over the double yellow line and struck
another vehicle.
Mount Kisco resident Diego Trejo, 22, was killed in the accident, along with
his dog.
Schuster entered a guilty plea to aggravated vehicular homicide charges. He
will be sentenced on Nov. 30.
