At least one person is in police custody after allegedly crashing a stolen car and taking off.
The driver allegedly slammed into a retaining wall on Timpson Street in Pelham on Sunday.
Neighbors say they saw the man take off running after the crash and they called the police. The neighbor whose wall was hit says he rushed home as soon as he heard the news.
The neighbor said they received a call that a stolen car smashed into their property and that officials were hunting for the perpetrators.  The neighbor says police responded in a short time, and heard that they apprehended a person in the car and were still searching for someone else.
The person police were searching for  has been found. The second person believed to have been in the car was also questioned.
