Westchester County Executive-elect Rob Astorino has named seven people Tuesday to serve on the executive committee of his transition team.

White Plains attorney Kevin Plunkett will chair the executive committee as Astorino begins to assemble the commissioners and staffers who will work under him. The committee will also include two former elected officials and several local business leaders.

"I want to work with people who clearly I trust," Astorino says.

Astorino says one of the objectives of the committee will be to decide which members of the Spano administration may be asked to stay on. All the key appointments are expected to be made by Dec. 10.
