Police have arrested a man they say was involved in a stabbing at the Bedford Park Boulevard Station early this month.
Gabriel Irizzary, 45, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police say that on around 8 p.m. on Dec. 10, a 40-year-old man was leaving a “D” train at the Bedford Park Boulevard and Grand Concourse subway platform station when Irizzary got into an argument with the victim before stabbing him in the chest.
EMS transported the victim to SBH Health System and is expected to recover.
