Annual butter sculpture from state fair finds new purpose in renewable energy

For the eighth consecutive year, the annual 800-pound butter sculpture from the Great New York State Fair has been deconstructed and transported to Noblehurst Farms in Livingston County for recycling into renewable energy.
According to Jack Klapper of Noblehurst Farms Inc., 800 pounds of butter can power a home for three days.
