Tenant advocates rallied in Gov. Andrew Cuomo's hometown of Mount Kisco Tuesday afternoon over the recent rent regulation deal.

The Alliance For Tenant Power sent busloads of protesters from New York City to Mount Kisco for the rally.

Gov. Cuomo tweaked rent laws, raising the threshold by which a landlord may remove an apartment from the rent control program from $2,500 a month to $2,700 a month. Protesters say that just doesn't cut it.

"Even the experts say with the $200 a month, we will still lose a lot of apartments - 100,000 apartments. It's a lot of apartments," says protester Renata Pumarol.

Cuomo says the deal to strengthen rent regulations is the best in history.
