News 12 has learned additional details leading up to an apparent murder-suicide in Rockland County earlier this week.
A source told News 12 that 38-year-old Sean Kelly and 35-year-old Colleen Williston were scheduled to be in a Pennsylvania court room on Thursday.
Law enforcement described it as a murder-suicide.
Court documents from Monroe County Pennsylvania show Kelly was arrested last month for violating a Protection From Abuse order by Williston – which News 12 is told is similar to a restraining order.
He was released on bail.
The bail criteria at the time stated he had not served jail time, nor been convicted of crimes, nor been charged with anything relating to domestic violence.
As News 12 reported earlier this week, Stony Point police say Kelly made a complaint to their department last Saturday involving Williston and their two kids which led to Rockland’s Child Protective Services being notified.
News 12 is working to find out more because the county’s Social Services agency cannot comment because of confidentiality and privacy.
As News 12 previously reported, their children were not in their custody at the time of the incident.
