A brief round of rain showers is expected Monday evening. Across the Hudson Valley, especially north of I-84, a few snowflakes may mix in, but no accumulation is expected. Temperatures quickly fall into the 30s overnight.
Tuesday and Wednesday turn colder despite mainly sunny skies. Highs stay near 50 degrees on Tuesday and only in the 40s on Wednesday. Widespread frost and even freezing temperatures are likely Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
Milder weather returns late week, with highs climbing back into the 60s and lows in the 40s. Dry conditions are expected to continue through the end of the week.
