A man accused of making threats with a handgun Saturday in Poughkeepsie is facing weapons possession and menacing charges, according to police.
Authorities say officers responded to a call from the scene on Cannon Street around 9:13 a.m.
Upon arrival, they apprehended 32-year-old Joseph Lombardi. A search uncovered an AK-47 rifle and loaded semi-automatic handgun without a serial number.
Lombardi was processed and held pending arraignment. Police say additional charges may be filed in the future.
