WEATHER OVERVIEW:
A cold front that moved through late Sunday has ushered in a refreshing change. Cooler, drier and less humid air is now in place, setting the stage for a fall-like start to the week.
Monday will feature mostly sunny skies, low humidity and very comfortable conditions, with dew points in the 50s. It will also be breezy, with gusts reaching up to 25 mph in the wake of Sunday’s front. Winds will remain noticeable into Monday night, contributing to a cool, crisp evening with overnight lows dipping into the upper-50s.
Tuesday will mirror Monday’s pleasant conditions but with lighter winds. High pressure remains firmly in control, delivering another dry day filled with sunshine, low humidity and temperatures peaking in the low-80s.
By Wednesday, a shift in the high-pressure system will begin to warm things up. Humidity levels will gradually increase, and more cloud cover is expected, though conditions should still remain dry. Highs will reach the upper-80s.
The heat returns in full by Thursday, with temperatures soaring back into the 90s and heat index values climbing even higher. Friday continues the trend—hot and humid—with a chance for afternoon storms as another system approaches from Canada heading into the weekend.
