Three people are now without a home after a morning fire in Port Chester, News 12 is told.

Village firefighters rushed to 43 Smith St. around 9 a.m. for reports of a fire.

Chief Herb Bocchino says firefighters assisted two women out of the building upon arriving.

According to Bocchino, flames were contained to the seond floor and attic of the 2.5-story, wood-frame home.

The cause of fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
