Two dozen new officers are beginning their careers with the Westchester County Department of Correction.

The oath of office ceremony started with a call to order, opening prayer and then a presentation of the colors by the Department's Honor Guard.

The event was held in the Westchester County Center Little Theater.

There were also performances by bagpipers and drummers of the Westchester County Emerald Society.
