A high-ranking Cypress gang member has been convicted of murder.
Jason Soto, also known as "Twin," was convicted Monday in Brooklyn on all three counts of a superseding indictment.
The charges include murder in aid of racketeering, causing the death of CGC leader Shakim Rivera through the use of a firearm in 2015, as well as possession with intent to distribute cocaine in 2024.
Soto faces a life sentence in prison.
