A case of animal cruelty in the Bronx ended with an arrest and a safer future for several dogs.
Police say an investigation by the Special Operations Unit and patrol officers in Parkchester quickly identified a suspect and took them into custody.
With help from the ASPCA, the dogs were safely removed from the home and taken for medical attention and ongoing care.
Investigators say the case is a reminder that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.
The suspect wasn’t identified in the post.
