A Milford man has been arrested in connection with a December 2025 overdose death in Fairfield. Police said Connor Dushay, 22, turned himself in earlier this month on an arrest warrant.

Officers responded to a Mill Plain Road home on Dec. 27 for an unresponsive male. Despite lifesaving efforts, the man was pronounced dead. Detectives determined the death was caused by acute intoxication from cocaine, fentanyl and alcohol.

Investigators said evidence showed Dushay supplied narcotics to the victim before the overdose and tampered with evidence at the scene. He was charged with sale of a narcotic substance, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance, second offense.

Dushay surrendered on March 19 and appeared in court the same day.
