A Wallkill man is in custody following allegations of rape in Crawford.

Police say Jesse Boniface, 51, was arrested over the weekend and charged with rape, criminal sex act, and incest.

Law enforcement officials have not disclosed the victim's identity or the circumstances leading to Boniface's arrest.

After being arraigned, he was remanded to Orange County Jail without bail. Authorities have not released further details regarding the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
