Locks of love: Dozens go bald on Long Island to help fund childhood cancer research
According to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, more children die in the United States of cancer than any other disease combined.

Dozens of people, including kids, got their heads shaved in Floral Park Saturday to help fund childhood cancer research.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation event has been a tradition for 13 years. It took place outside the Trinity Restaurant.
"It upends your entire family. It changes your entire life," said Lisa Binkley. Her son Aiden was 8 years old in 2008 when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that spread to his lungs.
"He was very friendly. He was ridiculously smart. His IQ was genius level. He could have changed the world," Binkley recalled.
Kids and adults got their heads shaven in Aiden's memory and to support other kids in the community who have cancer diagnoses. According to the foundation, more children die in the United States of cancer than any other disease combined.
