Hastings-on-Hudson: James Daley VFW Post 200 and Admiral Farragut American Legion Post 1195 host a parade at 2 p.m. Parade steps off on Chauncey Lane, continues to Main Street, then goes north on Warburton Avenue, turns east on North Street and ends on Maple Avenue.

New Rochelle: Memorial Day service and flag replacement on graves at Beechwood Cemetery. 9 a.m. Meet at main entrance. The United Veterans Memorial & Patriotic Association of New Rochelle will hold a BBQ and concert on Glen Island at noon.

New Hempstead: Rockland County Veterans' Coordinating Council Memorial Day ceremony. Noon at Rockland County Frederick Loescher Veteran's Cemetery, 220 Brick Church Road. 

Eastchester/Tuckahoe: Memorial Ceremony Tribute at 8:30 a.m. at World War II Monument, Generoso Pope Plaza, Depot Square in Tuckahoe. Parade steps off at 10 a.m. at Eastchester Town Hall, 40 Mill Road, then proceeds to White Plains Road then north to Eastchester Memorial Park where a closing ceremony will be held. 

Elmsford: Memorial Day Parade and Service. Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at Legion Park on Main Street and continues West on Main Street to South Stone Avenue, ending at Village Hall where a service will be held. Refreshments offered after the service next to Village Hall in Belway Electric's parking lot. In case of inclement weather, service will be held at 11 a.m. under a tent at Village Hall. 914-592-6555.

Harrison: Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Halstead Avenue.

Haverstraw: Leo Laders Post 130 and the Town of Haverstraw Memorial Day Committee will hold services starting at 9 a.m. at Haverstraw Town Hall, Rosman Road, Garnerville. Services will also be held at Calico Hill Veterans Memorial in Garnerville, the Civil War Monument on Hudson Ave. in Haverstraw, the World War II memorial in Haverstraw, and conclude at the World War I monument at Mount Repose Cemetery at 11 a.m.

Hillburn: Parade starts at 9 a.m. at the Ramapo Central School District Administration and will proceed through the village to the World War I Monument, corner of Lake Avenue and Fourth Street for a ceremony.

Mahopac: Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on Clark Place and Route 6N.

New Castle: Ceremonies at the Victory Corners Monument (King Street and Bedford Road) will be held at 10:30 a.m. Parade will step off at 11 a.m. from Ridgewood Terrace at Bedford Road and proceed along Route 117 to King Street, pass the Monument, continue down King Street and South Greeley Avenue to the Memorial Circle at the Railroad Station.

New City: Parade steps off at 10 a.m. on Collier Avenue, continues south on Main Street and ends at County Court House.

New Rochelle: Memorial Day service and wreath laying at 10 a.m. at Memorial Plaza, Memorial Highway and Main Street. A water service at Glen Island Park followed by veterans appreciation event, barbecue, all day concert and food from noon-5 p.m. Bring blankets and chairs.

New Windsor: Ceremony at the New Windsor Cantonment-National Purple Heart Hall of Honor 2 p.m.

Newburgh: 10 am Starts at West and Third Street and end at Washingtonas Headquarters. Service will begin at 11:45

Nyack: Parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Artopee Way behind the former Helen Hayes Theater in the center of the village and continues east on Main Street, south on Broadway and then east on Depew Avenue ending at Memorial Park where a ceremony will be held at noon.

Pearl River: Parade steps off from HSBC parking lot on Middletown Road and continues south on Middletown and then west on Central Avenue ending on Braunsdorf Park. 9 a.m.-noon.

Piermont: A Memorial Day Watchfire will be lit at midnight May 29 and will burn for 24 hours until midnight May30. The Pier will be open on these dates and permits are not required.

Rye: Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. from Station Plaza and proceeds along Purchase Street to the Village Green for Memorial Day services, and the awarding of the Legion's Annual Americanism Award, among other recognitions. Rye Fire Department's annual Memorial Day services at the Fire monument in the circle at Milton Road and Grace Church Street. Department members will march from the Locust Avenue Firehouse to the Monument, for a brief ceremony at 8 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., American Legion Post 128 Commander Tom Saunders will begin the formal ceremony on the Green.

Sloatsburg: American Legion Post No. 1643 and Village of Sloatsburg will sponsor a ceremony and parade starting at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, next to the Sloatsburg Municipal Building. After the ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park, the parade will proceed to the World War I Monument and conclude at the Sloatsburg Cemetery.

South Salem: Memorial Day Parade at 12:15 p.m. proceeds from South Salem Presbyterian Church to Lewisboro Town House for a ceremony. Live bands will play throughout the day beginning at 10 a.m. Races will be held at 8 a.m. and a fair at 10 a.m. at South Salem Presbyterian Church, 111 Spring St., South Salem PC

Stony Point: Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. on TenEyck St. and ends on East Main Street at Town Hall. Veterans service at 8:30 a.m. at Mount Rest Cemetery on West Main Street.

Suffern: The Village of Suffern and the Fromm-Maxwell-DeBaum American Legion Post No. 859 will hold a parade starting at 11 a.m. Parade steps off at Lot A, at the intersection of Orange and Lafayette avenues, and will continue on Lafayette Avenue to the Soldiers Monument at Washington Avenue. A ceremony will follow the parade at the Soldiers Monument. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in Village Hall.

Tappan: There will be a 9 a.m. memorial in front of the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan at 123 Washington St. An 11 a.m. parade will step off from the German Masonic Park at 120 Western Highway and turn left down Western Highway. The procession will turn left on Old Tappan Road and end near the fire house, where there will be speakers.

Thornwood: Memorial Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at the monuments located at the Old Thornwood Railroad Station, (Thornwood Chamber of Commerce). Refreshments will be served after the ceremony by the Gilbert Rauh American Legion Post No. 1574 at the Legion Hall, 52 Garrigan Ave. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at 52 Garrigan Ave. 914-761-2298.

Valhalla: Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. at Westlake Drive and proceeds south on Columbus Avenue. Ceremony at 10 a.m. at Village Green. Refreshments served at American Legion Post No. 1038 after parade and ceremony.

White Plains: Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Church Street, continues onto Main Street and proceeds to the Rural Cemetery on North Broadway. Parade followed by services and honors at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at the Rural Cemetery.

Yonkers: City of Yonkers Memorial Day Ceremony will be held from 9-10 a.m. at Washington Park Veterans Memorial, South Broadway. From 10 to 11:30 a.m., Ernest Pasqua American Legion Post No. 1506 will host a Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in the Crestwood neighborhood of Yonkers. Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Schultze Field and continues on Westchester and Pennsylvania avenues through Thompson Street and Vermont Terrace. The parade will arrive at the American Legion Plaza near the Crestwood train station ceremony at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude by 11:30 a.m. In the event of heavy rain, parade and ceremony will be canceled. Empire VFW Post 375's Memorial Day Service will be held from 2-3 p.m. at 10 Huber Place.

Yorktown Heights: Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies. Service at memorials at Town Hall at 11 a.m. Followed by parade at 11:15 a.m. Speeches and ceremony at John Jack DeVito Gazebo at the Yorktown Community and Cultural Center. Town Hall, 363 Underhill Ave.

Mamaroneck: Mamaroneck American Legion Post No. 90 and Village of Mamaroneck will host a Memorial Day Parade and Services. Parade starts at 10 a.m. at Mamaroneck Avenue School, proceeds through the village to the Veteran's Memorial on Prospect Avenue. A memorial service at the Kemper Memorial in front of Mamaroneck High School, honoring Mamaroneck students who died while serving in World War II, will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Mount Kisco: Memorial Day Parade steps off at 4:15 p.m., continues up Smith Avenue and down Main Street to the memorial in front of the library for ceremonies honoring those fallen in the wars and featuring the winners of the elementary school essay contest "What Memorial Day Means to Me." In case of rain, ceremonies will be held at the American Legion building at 4 p.m.

Somers: "Operation Victory" will mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and will feature a collection of vintage military vehicles, military memorabilia, big band music, an exhibit on the impact of World War II and food served in an authentic mess tent. Yonkers: City of Yonkers Memorial Day Parade starts at 1 p.m. at Charles Bajart American Legion Post No. 1122. St. John's Church, Getty Square hosts a Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at the cemetery, corner of Axminster Road and Saw Mill River Road.
